 Concerning the Ordinances

The Sinners Hospital believes that Jesus Christ commanded the Church to obey and observe certain ordinances of worship. [John 8:31][I Corinthians 11:2] Commonly practiced is the ordinance of full immersion baptism, of all believers of Jesus Christ [Matthew 28:19]. The ordinance of communion among all those who believe in Jesus, after refection of our sins, for the purpose of remembering Jesus Christ until His return, while not all gathered together in one place, as a congregation. [I Corinthians 11:25-27][I Corinthians 11:20].

The ordinance of headship, God the Father being the head of Jesus Christ, Jesus Christ, being the head of the man, and the man being the head of the woman [I Corinthians 11:2-3]. To honor the ordinance of headship, men are to cut their hair short, while women are to strive to have long hair, because God defines a woman's long hair as a covering [I Corinthians 11:15], or a woman can also shave her head bald [I Corinthians 11:6], as there is no other practice among true Christian leadership, or the Churches of God. [I Corinthians 11:4-5][I Corinthians 11:16] Likewise women who reject this ordinance, will disqualify their husbands from holding the title of "angels" or leader (See Revelation 2 & 3), within the Church, as we know that if a man can not rule well over his own house ( including his wife ), how then can he take care of the Church of God? [I Corinthians 11:10][I Timothy 3:5]

Plus, placed upon the leadership of the church is the ordinance to prepare both an orderly means for prophesy, and an orderly means for revelation, that Christian men, and only men, are to use for the purpose of edification, accountability, and comfort, according to the Scriptures, during the preaching of sermons within the church. [I Corinthians 14:29-40]

 John 8:31 [31] Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;

 I Corinthians 11:2 [2] Now I praise you, brethren, that ye remember me in all things, and keep the ordinances, as I delivered them to you.

 Matthew 28:19 [19] Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

 I Corinthians 11:25-27 [25] After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me. [26] For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord's death till he come. [27] Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord.

 I Corinthians 11:20 [20] When ye come together therefore into one place, this is not to eat the Lord's supper.

 I Corinthians 11:2-3 [2] Now I praise you, brethren, that ye remember me in all things, and keep the ordinances, as I delivered them to you. [3] But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.

 I Corinthians 11:4-5 [4] Every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonoureth his head. [5] But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven.

 I Corinthians 11:15-16 [15] But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering. [16] But if any man seem to be contentious, we have no such custom, neither the churches of God.

 I Corinthians 11:10 [10] For this cause ought the woman to have power on her head because of the angels.

 I Timothy 3:5 [5] (For if a man know not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the church of God?)

 I Corinthians 14:29-40 [29] Let the prophets speak two or three, and let the other judge. [30] If any thing be revealed to another that sitteth by, let the first hold his peace. [31] For ye may all prophesy one by one, that all may learn, and all may be comforted. [32] And the spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets. [33] For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints. [34] Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law. [35] And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church. [36] What? came the word of God out from you? or came it unto you only? [37] If any man think himself to be a prophet, or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things that I write unto you are the commandments of the Lord. [38] But if any man be ignorant, let him be ignorant. [39] Wherefore, brethren, covet to prophesy, and forbid not to speak with tongues. [40] Let all things be done decently and in order.
